A hidden jewel!!!! A trip to France without leaving the island. An amazing experience.
We found this place by mistake and my God thanks!!! One of the best meals that I have ever had. Personalize, unique.. No words...
Chef prepares every single dish for you and he is proud of it. From the outside you will never believe the quality of the food and what are you about to have.
One of those places that you need to visit once in your lifetime. -

Chez Daniel is a hidden jewel in a golf and country club setting with spectacular views. The menu is varied with an excellent choice of different dishes including a mix of French and Caribbean styles which will leave your mouth salivating. Always ask about the specials! The service was superb. The wine selection is amazing as well. We have been going to this restaurant for years at its old location which was destroyed by hurricane Maria. Amazingly it has been reincarnated in a new location which is spectacular . Driving into Palmas Del Mar you feel captivated by the serenity and beauty of the scenery. It is truly a special place for any type of plans. Whether you have special plans for a romantic dinner with a special person or family get together this is the perfect place. Viva la France!

Amazing food and service, vast wine and champagne selection. Everything a French restaurant should be.

Food was good, service not. The mixed grill paella was adequate, with fresh local ingredients. French onion soup was decent enough in a place where good food is MIA in general it is a must have. Wine glasses standing empty, never was asked if we wanted desserts. No ahi or hot pepper condiments were available, but a piquant vinegar was just okay if you want to add acid to your food.. typical of PR. Where is the hot stuff? Wine list is abysmal and could be easily upgraded from plonk to more interesting selections. Still some of the best food in Palmas among other limited and middling choices. Will go again. With limited expectations.

Lived in Palms for over two years and I finally tried Chez Daniel. Why did I wait so long? The food is awesome. Went with a group of six, everyone at the table was totally satisfied with the selection and quality of the food. Great job!
